Church cancellations with pending snow storm - January 25-26

Our Lady of the Assumption – Saint Ann by the Sea, Marshfield

Winter Storm Schedule Changes for Sunday, January 25, 2026, and Monday January 26, 2026

The amounts and start time of Sunday’s storm continues to change, and both tend to be changing for a more severe and early storm here in Marshfield. With the earlier time (the latest we heard is for an 11 AM start to the snow) we recommend taking advantage of the Saturday 4 PM Mass at Saint Ann or earlier Sunday morning Masses. Therefore, we are being proactive to make the following schedule changes for Sunday and Monday:

  • ·      Saturday Afternoon and Sunday Morning Mass schedule, for both parishes, will remain unchanged.
  • ·      All Sunday Religious Education (Morning, Afternoon and Evening) Classes are Cancelled.
  • ·      The Holy Hour for Life Scheduled for 3 PM on Sunday at Saint Ann is Cancelled
  • ·      The 5:30 PM Mass on Sunday at OLA is Cancelled – please go to an earlier Mass
  • ·      The 8 AM Monday (Jan 26) Weekday Mass at OLA is Cancelled
  • ·      The collaborative office will be closed on Monday, January 26
  • ·      The Monday, January 26 10 AM Funeral Mass at Saint Ann by the Sea for Donna Wiggins has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 10 AM. The Wake for Donna is rescheduled to Tuesday, January 27 from 4 PM to 7 PM at MacDonald Funeral Home.
  • ·      Monday evening viewing of the The Chosen is Cancelled.

Our main concern is your safety and wellbeing and the safety of others with the severe cold predicted for Saturday and the Sunday/Monday Storm. The storm is predicted to come in like a lion, so afternoon travel could be dangerous, with concerns that our properties will be sufficiently cleared as well. Therefore, we encourage those who do not feel safe to come out, to take advantage of the Masses telecast on Catholic TV and streamed through the day on catholictv.org.

We're going to Poland!
